Potassium sodium hydrogen citrate is a urine alkalinizing agent indicated in the treatment and prevention of uric acid, oxalate, phosphate, and cystine stones. It is used as an antioxidant in food as well as to improve the effects of other antioxidants. It is also used as an acidity regulator and sequestrant.
