Potassium Hydroxy Ethylidene, 1-Diphosphonic Acid, HEDP-Kx 79-7


DESCRIPTION:

Ready to use dispersant used to remove paraffin deposits. Also aids in water wetting solids and assists removal of FeS. 79-7 can be used downhole, in flow lines, free water knockouts, gun barrels and for tank bottoms.
Paraffin molecules in contact with 79-7 will not adhere to tubing or flowlines.

Soluble in Fresh Water, Crude Oil and Diesel; readily dispersible in high TDS brine.


USE:
79-9 can be batched downhole or in to flowlines with water or continuously applied. Typical treatment will take 5 to 10 ga of 79-7 for a 70 bbl hot oil or hot water load. Continuous treatments are in the range of 50 to 250 ppm. Flowline treatments usually consist of 2 gallons of 79-7 per bbl of flush.
