Ammonium lauryl sulfate or Ammonium dodecyl sulfate is a cosmetic grade material widely used in the formulation of shampoos, foam baths and other detergent products. It is especially suitable to produce mild shampoos and foam baths with low pH. It is an excellent anionic surfactant.


Specifications of Ammonium lauryl sulfate 70%:
Appearance: Pourable off-white to light-yellow viscous liquid.
Odor: Faint Characteristic odor.
Activity matter: around 70%.
Unsulfated: ≤4.0%
pH: 5.0 to 9
Ammonium sulfate: 2% maximum.
Ammonium chloride: 0.5% maximum.

Appearance: White to yellowish liquid or paste
Odor: Faint characteristic odor
Active matter: Around 27%.
Unsulfated matter: 1.5% maximum.
Ammonium sulfate: 1.0% maximum.
Ammonium chloride: 0.2% max
pH: 5.5-7.0 @ 25C for 1% aq. sol.
