Diphenylamine or Diphenyl amine or N-Phenylaniline or Anilinobenzene is a white to light tan solid with a pleasant odor. Diphenyl amine is used as an industrial chemical is used widely because of its antioxidant properties. Its main and almost only significant agricultural use is to control superficial scald in apples. Diphenylamine is widely used as an industrial antioxidant, dye mordant and reagent and is also employed in agriculture as a fungicide and antihelmintic.
